wcupsa mission statement and our philosophy for youth soccer education!
Special Events
True to its mission statement building character through athletics, WCUPSA uses athletics as a vehicle to step off the playing field! From community service, to outreach, to ballboying / ballgirling Manchester United and Chelsea games, the Academy is there.
FreshAir fund
Since 1877, The Fresh Air Fund has been giving inner-city children the joy of a summer vacation with volunteer host families and at Fund camps, creating unforgettable memories and fresh possibilities.
As of 2008, WCUPSA has been working in cooperation with FreshAir fund with staffing, programming, and other resources, all to the benefit of children less privileged than the hundreds who regularly attend our programs. We're very excited to be working with FreshAir fund to give these children further opportunities for growth and for fun!
WCUPSA would like to thank our camper families who are joining us in this endeavor.

Buddy Walk
The Buddy Walk is an annual fund raiser dedicated to promoting acceptance and inclusion of people who have Trisomy 21, Down Syndrome. This October, World Cup Soccer Academy was proud to be of assistance during the event! With the help of The Friends of Trisomy 21, Inc., we organized a booth with a soccer quiz, a juggling station, and continuous small-sided games which were enjoyed by all!

Barcelona – Manchester United
In the summer of 2003, select World Cup Soccer staff and players were able to attend 3 days of training sessions for both Barcelona and Manchester United at the Eagle’s Novacare Center in Philadelphia.
Highlights included: passing with vanNistelrooy, watching small-sided games just a few yards away from world-class players, and getting a picture taken with Ronaldinho. In addition, WCUPSA provided the on-field support staff and ball boys and girls for the game – the first at Lincoln Financial Field. A number of our players were able to walk on the field with the starting line-ups for the two teams.
