Building Character Through Athletics
WCUPSA has become the Main Line's premier youth coaching organization. Driven by the Academy's motto, Building Character Through Athletics, WCUPSA provides fun, educational learning experiences not only for Radnor Soccer Club and Tredyffrin Easttown Soccer Assocation, but also for clubs in Plymouth, King of Prussia, and Chester.
The Academy was integral in the Planning Committee for EPYSA's small sided soccer system, encouraging small-sided games as an essential developmental tool for young players, and now provides training for several of EPYSA’s Olympic Development Programs. WCUPSA staff and players have worked with Champions World, the group which recently brought high level European professional teams such as AC Milan, Chelsea, and Celtic to America. WCUPSA also provided training support for both Manchester United and FC Barcelona when they were on their US tours.
It is a testament to WCUPSA's work that the 2004 RSC summer camp alone attracted 250 youth players, while throughout the year the Academy served over 2500 members of the youth community, ages 5 to 18. As the Academy believes strongly in quality programming and excitement for those of all ability levels, WCUPSA provides teaching for beginners through the elite.
