Camper Pack List

Not sure what to bring to camp? Have questions like, 'do campers need to bring a snack' or 'what if my child forgets his soccer ball'? We've got you covered.

Please equip your camper with all the items from the General Pack List, and then review the lists below targeted at specific types of camps.

We can loan equipment for campers forgetting some items certain day, but please note that resources are finite!

General Pack List (all camps)

  • Water bottles (refills available on-site)
  • Snack or small lunch (pretzels, fruit, sandwich etc.)
  • Sunscreen / Hat
  • Change of t-shirt
  • Light rain jacket in case of precipitation
  • Any necessary medication with a note for the coaches (inhalers, ex.)
  • Backpack to put it all in

Regular sports shorts and t-shirts are suitable for all camps.

Soccer Camps

  • Soccer shoes and socks (although sneakers will be fine)
  • Shin guards
  • Well inflated soccer ball (size 4)
  • Goalkeepers may wish to bring gloves

Other Sports Camps

  • Sneakers and socks
  • Appropriate equipment* (ex: basketball camp requires a basketball!)

* Olympic and All-Star camps do not require campers to bring any special sports equipment.

Nature and Adventure Camps

  • 2 pairs of socks
  • Old sneakers* (we will get wet and muddy)
  • Anti-mosquito lotion (worn on the skin)
  • Light backpack to carry on hikes**
  • Bathing suit (worn as shorts or for girls, under shorts and t-shirt)***

* Please note that some campers choose to bring hiking boots - this is fine. We recommend not wearing sandals. Other campers bring 'Crocs' - these are fine as supplementary gear, but not as primary shoes as the clasps and straps are apt to break under the wear and tear of camp! Shoes must be worn at all times, even when in the water.

** Campers carry backpacks on hikes to pack in their water and snacks, and to pack out any trash. It is recommended that campers bring light backpacks and smaller water bottles to carry only the supplies needed for the hike, rather than hiking with a cumbersome and heavy backpack during the day. Arrangements are made to safely store larger packs and equipment during the hike.

*** Fully optional. Younger campers (ages 8 and below) are not permitted to swim at any time. Some other campers choose to swim in the shallow creek areas, under full staff supervision. Additionally, bathing suits are of a lighter, quick-drying material and may be more comfortable even for non-swimmers!
